Extremely Quiet and Incredible Clothes

Well, of course you are going to want to read my blog if only for the super witty titles in reference to super awesome books (okay, this will be the only one, I swear).* So, maybe I'm not extremely quiet (anymore) and maybe I don't own a ton of incredible clothes (yet), but I do live a quiet life in which I work, read, write, and intend on accruing a fair amount of incredible clothes that I love. So, if you too enjoy reading and fashion, maybe you'll enjoy what spills out of my head and onto this blog.

Here's what I'm reading now:

I both love and hate this cover because it captures the unlikeability of the character Anna, yet it makes her seem stronger than she actually is in the novel. I will write more about it when I have reached its end, but for now I will say, I feel bad for just about every character except for Anna! Therefore, I am curious to see how I feel when I reach its conclusion (since everyone seems to know how it ends).

And here is my latest purchase (and last for awhile):

I was particularly excited when I received these boots as I like to think of them as my first pair of "grown-up" shoes that weren't handed down from one of my two older sisters. I am determined to conquer the heel this year! Oh, and I MUST mention they were a steal. Got 'em on sale for $50 on aldoshoes.com.

Now, I will soon put those on and head out for some birthday celebrations with my wonderful coworkers at Revamp Salon in SF.

Stay tuned for more books and clothes.

*the title is in reference to Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer which I would recommend to anyone who enjoys playful voices, surprising insight, and journeys of self-discovery.
